Creativehome is seeking a highly skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including interpreting blueprints, selecting materials, measuring and cutting, installation, framing, finishing, repair and restoration, backdrop making, roofing and siding, flooring, concrete formwork, safety compliance, tool maintenance, communication, problem-solving, adherence to codes, time management, and continuous learning.

• Interpreting Blueprints: Read and interpret construction blueprints and drawings to ensure accurate execution of projects.
• Material Selection: Select appropriate materials for the job based on project specifications, ensuring quality and durability.
• Measuring and Cutting: Accurately measure and cut materials using hand tools or power tools, minimizing waste and errors.
• Installation: Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinets, and molding, ensuring proper fit and finish.
• Framing: Frame structures using wood or other materials according to project requirements, maintaining stability and safety.
• Finishing: Apply finishes to wood surfaces, such as paint, varnish, or stain, enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the project.
• Repair and Restoration: Repair or replace damaged components in existing structures, restoring them to their original condition.
• Backdrop Making: Construct and install arches, stands, and other decorative elements, creating a visually appealing atmosphere.
• Roofing and Siding: Install roofing materials and siding on buildings, ensuring water-tightness and weather resistance.
• Flooring: Install various types of flooring, such as hardwood, laminate, or tile, providing a comfortable and durable surface.
• Concrete Formwork: Build forms for pouring concrete and assist in concrete work, ensuring proper setting and finishing.
• Safety Compliance: Follow safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment, maintaining a safe work environment for yourself and colleagues.
• Tool Maintenance: Maintain and care for tools, ensuring they are in good working condition and ready for use.
• Communication: Communicate with project managers, supervisors, and other construction professionals, providing updates and ensuring smooth project execution.
• Problem-Solving: Address any unexpected issues or changes during the setup process, finding creative solutions to challenges that may arise.
• Adherence to Codes: Ensure that all work meets local building codes and regulations, maintaining compliance and avoiding penalties.
• Time Management: Efficiently manage time to meet project deadlines, prioritizing tasks and minimizing delays.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on new techniques, materials, and industry trends, enhancing your skills and knowledge.

• 1 year of experience in Carpentry (Preferred)
