Role Summary

This dynamic role will be responsible for leading and driving sales efforts for group bookings and events, ensuring the property becomes a premier destination for meetings, conferences, social gatherings, and other large-scale events.

Responsibilities:
  1. Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement a sales strategy for groups and events, ensuring alignment with the overall business goals of Mondrian Abu Dhabi.
  2. Sales Team Leadership: Lead a high-performing sales team focused on groups, events, and catering, establishing clear objectives and performance goals.
  3. Client Relationship Building: Build and nurture relationships with key clients, event planners, and corporate accounts to drive business for both small and large-scale events.
  4. Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing and PR teams to promote the venue's unique event offerings, leveraging digital marketing and social media platforms to maximize visibility.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales management, with at least 3 years in a Director-level role, ideally in a luxury or lifestyle hotel environment.
  • Global Work Environment: Experience working in a truly global work environment is essential.
  • Pre-Opening Experience: Prior pre-opening experience is highly desirable.
  • Luxury Hospitality Trends: Strong knowledge of luxury hospitality trends and an established network within the hospitality industry.
  • Exceptional Leadership: Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
