Key Responsibilities- Set up and ensure all equipment is functioning for smooth interpretation sessions.
- Test microphones, headsets, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during sessions.
- Perform packet loss tests and log in to required platforms to guarantee seamless communication.
- Review materials and familiarize yourself with the session context to provide accurate interpretations.
- Accurately interpret spoken language without errors or interruptions.
- Maintain conversation flow by ensuring clarity and precision in your translations.
- Ensure confidentiality and impartiality throughout the interpretation process.
- Submit detailed reports on completed sessions, highlighting any notable achievements or challenges.
- Provide constructive feedback and document any issues that may have arisen during sessions.
- Strong proficiency in English with excellent verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple tasks concurrently.
- Customer Focus: Demonstrate a commitment to delivering superior customer service.
- Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with clients and other interpreters to support team objectives.
- Technical Experience: Familiarity with using phone systems and interpretation software is advantageous.
- 0 to 6 months of proven experience in an interpretation role.
- Experience in a contact center or remote working environment is preferred but not essential.
