Energy Savings Engineer

Emirates Electrical & Instrumentation Company seeks an experienced HVAC Performance Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing M&V plans for energy savings performance contracting (ESPC) projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC engineering, with experience in energy management systems, building controls, and data analysis. A bachelor's degree in electrical/mechanical engineering is required, along with certification as a Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP).
This role involves working closely with project teams to evaluate project performance risk, analyze savings calculations, and develop construction and service phase M&V budgets. The successful candidate will also supervise baseline and post-installation data collection, diagnose HVAC and building system performance issues, and provide technical assistance with ongoing review of energy management systems.
In addition to these responsibilities, the HVAC Performance Specialist will prepare monthly/quarterly/annual energy savings reports in line with IPMVP protocols, facilitate the billing process with customers, and interface with energy engineers for reviews of baselines, design intent, and savings calculations.
