About This Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Cost Control Specialist and play a critical role in maintaining financial transparency and assisting management in making informed decisions.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Audit revenue and cost transactions across various departments, including Food & Beverage, Rooms, and other operational areas.
  2. Review and verify daily revenue reports to ensure accuracy and that income is properly recorded.
  3. Audit cost control reports, inventory records, and other operational expenses to ensure that costs align with budgeted figures and are properly documented.
  4. Ensure all financial transactions comply with company policies and industry standards.
  5. Assist in preparing financial statements by ensuring income and cost-related entries are accurate and in accordance with accounting standards.
  6. Investigate discrepancies or irregularities in financial reports and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
  7. Prepare detailed audit reports for management, outlining findings, risks, and areas for improvement.
  8. Support internal and external auditors during audits by providing requested documents and explanations.

Key Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a finance or auditing role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  3. Strong knowledge of financial auditing processes, including income and cost auditing.
  4. Proficient in using financial software and accounting systems.
  5. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
  6. Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to identify discrepancies.
  7. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
  8. Knowledge of local accounting regulations and compliance standards.
  9. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
  10. Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
