About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Water Supply Systems Manager to join our water infrastructure design team. As a specialist in water supply systems, you will be responsible for leading the design and modeling of potable water supply, firefighting, wastewater, and irrigation infrastructure projects.
About the Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex water supply systems;
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of water quality and quantity for potable water transmission projects;
- Apply advanced modeling techniques to optimize wet services and improve system efficiency;
- Verify model outputs against engineering calculations to ensure accuracy and reliability;
- Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of infrastructure design works, adhering to strict deadlines;
- Perform thorough technical reviews of colleagues' work, conducting regular progress updates and liaising with internal and external clients;
- Implement cutting-edge BIM technologies to streamline project delivery and enhance collaboration;
- Coordinate project implementation to ensure seamless integration with other project components;
- Manage aspects of projects design submittal and deliverables reviews and approval against contract requirements; Report on any deviation from the same;
- Maintain adherence to AECOM's Health and Safety and Quality measures, including safety in design works;
- Provide expert design advice, reports, and liaison with other engineering disciplines; Assist Managers in coordinating work between the civil Infrastructure team and other AECOM teams;
- Supervise, coordinate, and support Engineers and provide design input to CAD Technicians;
- Lead in coordinating with authorities for design review and approvals;
- Coach and develop as required other infrastructure engineers and strive to distribute and share knowledge amongst team members;
- Demonstrate a complete understanding of UAE and KSA design guidelines and authorities requirements.
About You
- You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a water-related subject;
- You possess at least 12 years of experience with at least 5 years in UAE or other GCC countries;
- You are a Professional Recognized Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership;
- You possess skills in WaterGEM, SewerGEM, StormCAD, Civil 3D, InfoSWMM, MIKE URBAN, Infoworks ICM, Bentley Hammer, ARCMap, PCSWMM, and HECRAS.
