  • Ensure a safe environment by teaching proper techniques, enforcing safety rules, and conducting regular equipment checks.
  • Inspire and motivate students to participate in physical activities and foster a lifelong appreciation for fitness.
  • Collaborate with other teachers, coaches, and staff to promote a holistic approach to student health and wellness.
  • Maintain open communication with students and parents regarding progress, participation, and any concerns.
  • Stay updated on new teaching methods, sports, and health trends through workshops and professional development opportunities.
  • Organize and oversee extracurricular activities, such as sports teams, fitness clubs, or health awareness events.
  • Foster a positive learning environment by implementing effective classroom management strategies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a related field.
  • Valid teaching certification or licensure in physical education.
  • First Aid and CPR certification (preferred).
  • 13 years of experience in teaching physical education at the elementary, middle, or high school level (preferred).
  • Involvement in coaching or leading extracurricular sports or fitness activities (preferred).
