We are seeking a highly skilled Project Management Specialist to join our team at Wood. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for directing and managing EPC projects to achieve project requirements for safety, quality, engineering, schedule, construction, and cost management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Direct and manage EPC projects to achieve project requirements.
  • Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Ensure adherence to project and corporate HSE procedures and support a safe working environment.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with Company's objectives, requirements, priorities, policies, procedures, standards, rules, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Corrective Action: Take necessary corrective action to align project back on track in case of deviations from plans.
  • Change Management: Minimize change orders/variations and mitigate disputes with contractors.
  • Project Development: Prepare, supervise, and approve the development of PEP and its implementation, including Lessons Learned documentation.
  • Collaboration: Liaise and coordinate with project teams, including Project Engineering Team Leader, Procurement Engineer, Interface Engineer, Safety Advisor, Quality Engineer, Discipline Engineers, Subcontractors, Lead Project Control Engineer, Fabrication Engineer, Construction Engineers, and Hook-up Engineers.
  • Implementation: Implement the scope of work related to construction/fabrication, pre-commissioning, load-out, and offshore installation hook-up and offshore pre-commissioning and commissioning of facilities.
  • Decision Making: Seek guidance from the Project Manager/Project Division Head before making critical and important decisions.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor day-to-day activities through weekly, monthly, and quarterly progress meetings to facilitate achievement of targets.
  • Risk Management: Identify project risks and recommend ways to mitigate them.
  • Contract Review: Provide technical and commercial inputs and review contract/tendering documentation to ensure a thorough understanding of requirements.
  • Heavy Lift and Load Out: Review and approve heavy lift and load out procedures and participate in preparation and execution of operations.
  • Construction Workshops: Participate in preparation of construction-related workshops, method statements, risk assessments, and HSE workshops.
  • Mobilization: Review, optimize, and approve the work of mobilization teams to ensure that all necessary activities are covered.
  • Project Execution: Execute the project in line with the delivery schedule, contract specifications, and conditions.
  • Shutdown Planning: Participate in shutdown planning with COMPANY overall shutdown.
  • Organization Chart: Develop project construction management organization chart and mobilization schedule.
  • Team Morale: Promote an environment for building team morale and build consent within the team.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in project management.
  • Skills: Strong project management skills, including experience with EPC projects, health, safety, and environment procedures, and contract management.
