Job Title: FB Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced FB Associate to join our team at The First Group Dubai. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that our guests have an unforgettable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pre-Service Preparation: Ensure that all tables are set and ready for service, and that all cutlery and glassware are polished and in good condition.
  • Stock Management: Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels, and communicate with management and suppliers to ensure that we have sufficient supplies to meet demand.
  • Menu Knowledge: Develop a thorough understanding of our menus and be able to make recommendations to guests.
  • Serving and Taking Orders: Take orders from guests, explain menu options, and ensure that all orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently.
  • Communication and Liaison: Liaise with the kitchen and other departments to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Upselling and Promotions: Consistently upsell food and beverages, and make guests aware of promotions and special offers.
  • Availability and Preparation: Be aware of item availability and prepare orders as required.
  • Payment and Closure: Handle payments and complete closure paperwork as necessary.
  • Guest Service: Provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Reservations and Cleaning: Take reservations and assist with cleaning tasks during and after service.
  • Departmental Meetings and Feedback: Attend departmental meetings and provide feedback to management on guest satisfaction and service delivery.
  • Software and Knowledge: Familiarize yourself with our software systems and be able to input orders accurately.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Ensure that guests receive their orders accurately and efficiently, and that their satisfaction is our top priority.

Requirements:

  • Experience: A minimum of 2+ years of experience in high-volume F&B operations is essential.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with food safety and hygiene practices is a must.
