Key Responsibilities

  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal performance of audio, lighting, and video systems.
  • Corrective Maintenance: Troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
  • System Setup and Operation: Configure and operate audio, lighting, and video systems for various events and productions.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Regularly clean and maintain audio, lighting, and video equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Lamp Replacement: Replace lamps in theatrical lighting fixtures and ambient lighting fixtures as needed.
  • Procedures and Protocols: Follow established start of day and end of day procedures to ensure a smooth operation.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in all areas and equipment.
  • Equipment Fault Reporting: Report equipment faults and troubleshoot system issues to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Documentation and Labeling: Read and understand single line diagrams, rack elevation diagrams, and other technical documents. Label and test various types of cables and products before, during, and after installation.
  • Rack Assembly and Installation: Assemble and install equipment racks and systems.
  • System Testing: Test individual attraction systems in preparation for hand-over to the R&A department.

Requirements

  • Technical Qualification: Related technical qualification or degree.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in setting up and operating audio, lighting, and video equipment.
  • Installation Experience: 1 year of proven track record in installation and maintenance.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Proven ability in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Time Management: Ability to adhere to strict timelines and deadlines.
  • Language Skills: Clear understanding of both written and spoken English.
