Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Professional to join our team at Marriott International Inc. As a Housekeeping Professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities, providing exceptional service to our guests, and working collaboratively with our housekeeping team to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments, providing timely and courteous service.
  • Fully stock and maintain housekeeping carts with supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary items are available for use.
  • Enter guest rooms following established procedures, ensuring that all rooms are vacant before entering and that all guest amenities and supplies are replaced as needed.
  • Make beds, fold and replace linens, and clean bathrooms, ensuring that all areas are clean and tidy.
  • Remove trash, dirty linen, and room service items, and ensure that all areas are free from clutter and debris.
  • Check that all appliances are present in the room and in working order, and report any maintenance issues to the appropriate team.
  • Straighten desk items, furniture, and appliances, and dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings.
  • Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties, ensuring that all areas are clean and well-maintained.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds, and push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related equipment.
  • Ability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods, and to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
