Wood Plc is seeking a highly experienced Senior HSE Manager to join our team. As a key member of our HSE department, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of our Integrated Management System and ensuring compliance with relevant safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistency and efficiency across the organization.
- Conduct regular audits and investigations to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks associated with technical projects and plant modifications.
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure that employees have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their jobs safely.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in HSE and apply this knowledge to improve our safety performance.
- Develop and implement HSE metrics and reporting to ensure that we are measuring and tracking our safety performance effectively.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to employees and management on HSE matters.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Safety, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in HSE management and technical safety engineering, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
