About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our team at ClickJobs. As a key member of our data science team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and delivering machine learning models and components that solve real-world business problems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and Develop Machine Learning Models: Collaborate with our product and data science teams to design and develop machine learning models that meet business requirements.
  2. Inform Infrastructure Decisions: Use your understanding of machine learning modeling techniques and issues to inform infrastructure decisions, including choice of model, data, and feature selection.
  3. Solve Complex Problems: Write and test application code, develop and validate machine learning models, and automate tests and deployment.
  4. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with our Agile team to create and enhance software that enables state-of-the-art big data and machine learning applications.
  5. Retrain and Maintain Models: Retrain, maintain, and monitor models in production to ensure they continue to meet business requirements.
  6. Leverage Cloud-Based Architectures: Leverage or build cloud-based architectures, technologies, and/or platforms to deliver optimized machine learning models at scale.
  7. Construct Optimized Data Pipelines: Construct optimized data pipelines to feed machine learning models.
  8. Ensure Model Governance: Ensure all code is well-managed to reduce vulnerabilities, models are well-governed from a risk perspective, and the machine learning follows best practices in Responsible and Explainable AI.
  9. Use Programming Languages: Use programming languages like Python, Scala, or Java to develop and deploy machine learning models.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, electrical engineering, or mathematics.
  2. Programming Experience: At least 4 years of experience programming with Python, Scala, or Java.
  3. Data-Intensive Solutions: At least 3 years of experience designing and building data-intensive solutions using distributed computing.
  4. Machine Learning Frameworks: At least 2 years of experience with industry-recognized machine learning frameworks, such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, Dask, Spark, or TensorFlow.
  5. Productionizing Models: At least 1 year of experience productionizing, monitoring, and maintaining models.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Spark and Kubeflow Experience: 1+ years of experience with Spark and Kubeflow or other pipeline orchestration technologies.
  2. ML System Experience: 1+ years of experience building, scaling, and optimizing machine learning systems.
  3. Data Gathering and Preparation: 1+ years of experience with data gathering and preparation for machine learning models.
  4. Developing Performant Code: 2+ years of experience developing performant, resilient, and maintainable code.
  5. Cloud Experience: Experience developing and deploying machine learning solutions in a public cloud, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  6. Advanced Degree: A master's or doctoral degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, electrical engineering, or mathematics.
  7. Distributed File Systems: 3+ years of experience with distributed file systems or multi-node database paradigms.
  8. Open Source Contributions: Contributions to open source machine learning software.
  9. Research Experience: Authored or co-authored a paper on a machine learning technique, model, or proof of concept.
  10. Production-Ready Data Pipelines: 3+ years of experience building production-ready data pipelines that feed machine learning models.
