• Identifying and meeting guests' needs, providing appropriate bar services, and assisting guests in recommendations, upselling where appropriate to provide knowledgeable and bespoke service.

• Recognizing customer dissatisfaction promptly and taking action to resolve the situation according to individual level of responsibility and guest feedback/complaint procedures to win back guest satisfaction.

• Completing day-to-day activities by following all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner while delivering a quality service to guests and maintaining standards of excellence.

• Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and environment procedures, instructions, and controls so that the company provides world-class and luxurious hospitality services to its guests.

• Complying with quality expectations and standards.

• Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with others and supporting the team to reach common goals.

• Maintaining an efficient workflow by adhering to the sequence of service and standards detailed in relevant F&B Standards Manual.

• Serving beverages according to defined standards and measures (according to local license agreements).

• Mixing ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks according to beverage recipes.

• Ensuring all drinks transactions are processed, registered, and settled.

• Ensuring uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.

• Setting up the bar appropriately, ensuring the visuals and merchandise are placed appropriately.

• Undertaking opening, closing, and cleaning tasks as detailed on checklists.

• Coordinating with stewards to ensure equipment and bar area are always kept hygienically clean and tidy and sufficient glassware is available.

• Ensuring the checking of expiration dates and that all perishable garnishes are stored and recorded in designated storage area.

• Adopting a responsible attitude towards serving of alcoholic beverages, to ensure safe consumption in line with company policy and regulatory requirements.

• Performing related tasks and duties as assigned and deemed responsible by management.

About You:

  • Up to 2 years of experience, preferably with an international hospitality company
  • Experience of working in an international capacity and a clear understanding of cultural differences showcasing trust and respect for everyone
  • Proficient in English (Read/Write/Speak – Essential)
  • Knowledge of additional language (Desired)
