Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise a team of engineers and contractors to ensure successful project delivery
  • Implement methods for dispute avoidance and resolution
  • Proactively manage multiple sites and ensure effective communication with stakeholders
  • Review contractor technical submittals and ensure compliance with project specifications
  • Provide technical inputs and respond to client and contractor queries
  • Evaluate technical proposals and ensure constructability, technology deployment, and problem-solving
  • Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with quality assurance specifications and statistical quality control
  • Prepare construction project monthly valuations and review project progress against the baseline program
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university
  • 15+ years of work experience, ideally with an engineering consultancy
  • Experience working on water infrastructure projects, including water pumping systems, piping and pipelines systems, tanks, HVAC, firefighting, and hypochlorination systems
  • Developed interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with multicultural teams
  • Ability to work effectively and diligently as an individual and team member to resolve complex faults on critical equipment
  • Ability to prepare and present technical and non-technical documentation
