As a Compliance Screening Expert, you'll join our vibrant and fast-paced Compliance Team. Your primary responsibility will be to provide intensive content screening services for our clients. This includes viewing all material from a compliance perspective, creating accurate edit notes, and versioning content.
You'll work closely with other teams globally and adhere to tight deadlines within a fast-paced environment. To succeed in this role, you'll need to have a passion for content, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well as part of a team.
The ideal candidate will have experience within a media and content environment, excellent English and Arabic speaking, grammar, and communication skills. Additional language skills are desired.
Key Responsibilities:
- Screening of movies and TV programming options for compliance purposes.
- Creating edit notes as per provided TV Edit guidelines and discussing them with colleagues to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
- Accurate creation of edit notes as required per Cultural Sensitive Guideline and discussing them with colleagues to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
- Providing Editor recommendations and feedback when needed.
- Preparing digital content for Technical departments.
- Managing & monitoring deadlines.
- Downloading/uploading digital content to/from a variety of sources.
- Updating metadata where appropriate.
- Supporting internal staff members with general digital assets inquiries at their request.
- Completing ad hoc projects as instructed by members of the Compliance Team Lead.
Requirements:
- Attention to detail and accurate content screening.
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and Arabic.
- Knowledge of NLE editing using Premiere.
- Experience creating edit notes following guidelines within the airline industry or for Broadcast would be advantageous.
- Understanding of regional and global cultural sensitivities is crucial.
- Knowledge of digital video standards including broadcast codecs, frame rates, aspect ratio preservation, and conversion is desirable.
- Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office tools such as Word and Excel is beneficial, as are general PC-based skills and experience.
- The ability to consistently deliver work of high quality against tight deadlines is considered an important attribute for people performing this role.
- Knowledge of additional languages would be useful.
