Campaign Coordinator Job Description

The heart of our business is the TEAM LEWIS Foundation (TLF), a non-profit charitable entity funded by TEAM LEWIS. The TLF provides grants to support individuals undertaking charitable activities and charitable organizations in achieving their goals. We aim to promote social, cultural, economic, and environmental innovation that benefits society, strengthening the bonds between the communications industry, businesses, governments, and non-profits. In 2022, the TLF granted $700,000 to local causes alone, with our employees championing community charities by volunteering their time and skills to provide marketing and comms support, maximizing the effectiveness of the grants.

Key ResponsibilitiesClient Management
  • Assist the team in the management of client accounts and projects, establishing TEAM LEWIS as a valuable long-term partner for marketing and communications services.
  • Coordinate communication with clients, adhering to deadlines and client service level agreements.
  • Support the new business process by providing research and coordination.
  • Assist with the coordination of press tours, events, and review programs.
Media Relations
  • Understand and follow the news agenda, positioning clients and products within context.
  • Research and identify appropriate journalists, bloggers, and analysts on an ongoing basis.
  • Develop media and blogger relationships for self and on behalf of the team.
  • Monitor relevant news sources and alert the team to breaking news opportunities.
  • Develop an understanding of strong news angles and media opportunities, escalating them to senior team members.
  • Organize and coordinate media interviews and press briefings.
Content
  • Draft a range of written materials, including biographies, briefing documents, media alerts, soundbites, Q&As, backgrounders, and boilerplates.
  • Create press materials and compelling content for traditional and digital media.
  • Develop valuable and insightful briefing sheets to assist clients with their press communications.
  • Develop and share knowledge around finding good news angles or hooks.
  • Focus on improving writing ability, adapting and refining style to suit client needs.
Digital/Social Media
  • Use social media platforms to expand your network, develop media relationships, and positively impact client results.
  • Provide social media insight, execution, and management of related digital activity.
Team Working and Development
  • Ensure personal and deliverable client objectives are met on an ongoing basis.
  • Accurately report activity levels and complete timesheets to ensure correct allocation of client and team duties.
  • Escalate general new business requests to appropriate team members.
  • Work closely with your line manager to maximize your strengths, improve weaknesses, and support individual and team career development.
  • Regularly attend TEAM LEWIS training sessions and daily press briefings to enhance skills and develop knowledge.
Reporting and Analysis
  • Track and report on media activity, including coverage reports, press clippings, online media engagement, and progress using metrics.
  • Ensure all account activity and results are reported back to the Senior Campaign Executive/Campaign Manager/Campaign Director.
  • Communicate account performance internally at account reviews.
  • Provide reports to the Campaign Director or senior management team on request.
General
  • Support the Account Servicing team on ad hoc initiatives and projects.
  • Take a proactive role in promoting the TEAM LEWIS brand, work identity, and values.
  • Support the HR/talent team by promoting both internal and external opportunities at TEAM LEWIS across social media and via the referrals scheme.
