Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Piping Design Specialist to join our team at Oil And Gas Job Search Ltd. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating and reviewing piping and layout designs for various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Review: Prepare and check all types of piping and layout design deliverables, including General Arrangement Drawings, Mechanical Package Drawings, 3D Models in PDS, Piping Arrangement Drawings, Piping Isometrics, Material Take-Offs, Electrical or Instrument Cable layouts, and more.
  • Site Surveys: Conduct onshore site surveys in various locations, ensuring accurate data collection and documentation.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Participate in interdisciplinary checks of Civil, Structural, Piping, Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation drawings to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Vendor Drawing Review: Review vendor drawings for Equipment/Package items, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
  • Design Software Proficiency: Produce 2D drawings in AutoCAD and MicroStation, and assist in the coordination of all activities related to the discipline.
  • Model Review and Presentation: Prepare model/constructability review presentations, highlighting key design elements and potential issues.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Strong commitment to safety, proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, experience with 3D modeling using PDS, and experience with 3D model review using Navisworks.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding and interpretation of Topographical Survey data, experience in Brownfield, Conceptual, FEED, and Detailed Design, and compliance with industry, international, and client Codes and Standards.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Active listening, ability to focus on customer requirements, and willingness to make occasional visits to project sites.
