Company Overview:
Xeluxe Fire Safety Consultancy is actively seeking a skilled Fire Fighting Specialist Engineer with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the field.

Position Type:

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Proposal Development:
Assist in crafting detailed technical and commercial proposals. Collaborate with the business development team to ensure that proposals meet client expectations, adhere to industry standards, and incorporate innovative solutions.

Engineering Duties:

Lead the preparation of technical inputs for the firefighting sector of projects through various design phases, from master planning to detailed design. Review and enhance fire protection design basis reports focused on firefighting aspects.

Review and create firefighting schematics, riser diagrams, and layouts in compliance with the International Building Code (IBC) and relevant National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards. Conduct thorough technical evaluations to maintain the highest quality standards. Perform risk assessments for existing structures and prioritize risks with actionable corrective plans.

Construction Oversight & Handover:
Examine shop drawings in accordance with applicable codes and standards. Conduct regular fire safety inspections and produce inspection reports with action plans for necessary rectifications. Oversee cause and effect testing and other performance assessments for fire and life safety systems and components. Validate test certificates for materials associated with fire and life safety systems.

Client and Authority Engagement:
Interface with clients to provide technical clarifications and address inquiries related to fire and life safety components of projects. Collaborate with various authorities to ensure compliance with all technical requirements and adherence to local, regional, and international fire safety standards.

Participate in workshops with the project design team and Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) to review Fire and Life Safety (FLS) inspection feedback, resolve nonconformities, and address coordination challenges.


Quality Assurance:
Establish and implement comprehensive quality assurance processes to guarantee the accuracy and reliability of all engineering outputs.

Training and Knowledge Dissemination:
Facilitate training sessions for internal teams and clients on best practices in fire and life safety. Stay updated on industry advancements and share knowledge within the organization to promote continuous improvement.

Project Management:
Work closely with other team members to ensure the timely completion of fire and safety-related tasks.

Qualifications:
B.Tech degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Fire Engineering preferred. Minimum of 8 years of experience in the field. Valid UAE driving license. Willingness to relocate if necessary.
