This role involves collaborating with clients, project managers, and other design professionals to develop technical design solutions that meet project goals and industry standards. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Leading the technical design of complex construction projects, including commercial, educational, and industrial facilities.
  2. Collaborating with clients, project managers, and other design professionals to understand project requirements and develop technical design solutions that meet project goals and industry standards.
  3. Preparing and developing drawings, models, specifications, reports, and other documents relating to the design.
  4. Meeting with clients to discuss design requirements for new constructions, alterations, or repairs.
  5. Leading the design coordination with all disciplines, subconsultants, and stakeholders involved in the project.
  6. Ensuring compliance with local and international codes, regulations, and submission requirements.
  7. Mentoring less experienced staff, participating in professional development reviews, and Lessons Learned sessions.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  1. Proven experience working on medium to large-scale projects, with at least 10 years' experience in a similar role.
  2. RIBA/AIA Licensed Architect preferred.
  3. Extensive experience from concept through to construction, across various project types, including residential, commercial, hospitality, medical, leisure, education, and high-rise developments.
  4. Strong leadership abilities and the ability to lead teams and projects.
  5. Proficiency in Revit and 3D rendering software using Revit or Sketchup.
  6. Middle East experience and working knowledge of design and construction practices specific to this region.
  7. Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and submission requirements.
  8. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
