Key Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain equipment to ensure they are functioning properly and meet health and safety standards.
  • System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Repair and Replacement: Assist in the setup of new equipment and systems, and conduct repairs when necessary.
  • Inspections and Testing: Inspect alarm systems and schedule repairs when needed.
  • Manual Repairs: Perform manual repairs, including fixing locks, replacing windows, and other tasks as assigned.
  • Pest Control: Undertake activities such as spraying insecticide to prevent pest infestations.
  • General Upkeep: Conduct general upkeep procedures, including landscaping, painting, and carpentry tasks.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience as a maintenance technician.
  • Knowledge: Basic understanding of electrical, electronic, equipment, and other systems.
  • Skills: Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods, manual dexterity, and problem-solving skills.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology, or relevant field will be a plus.

Working Conditions:

The ideal candidate will have a strong physical presence, be willing to work overtime, and have a good understanding of tools, common appliances, and devices.
