Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled E and I QC Engineer to join our quality controls team on one of our projects in Fujairah, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of quality documentation, including Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and reviewing construction documents for compliance with project quality requirements related to E&I works.
Key Responsibilities- Assists in preparing quality documentation, including ITPs and review of construction documents for compliance with project quality requirements related to E&I works.
- Monsitors all phases and processes required for the effective completion of all related E&I / Telecom works, including design, procurement, construction, and final handover of related E&I works.
- Monitors implementation of Method Statements and Inspection & Test Plans related to E&I works, ensuring necessary records are generated in a timely manner.
- Manages inspection and testing of E&I works, including monitoring work of QC Inspectors under their authority.
- Closely monitors punch lists established for incomplete related to E&I works.
- Ensures measurement & testing instruments employed for E&I works are functional and calibrated.
- Liaises and coordinates with 3rd Party Testing/Inspection Company as required related to E&I works.
- Performs statistical analysis and evaluation of test data related to E&I works.
- Prepares, files, and maintains test/inspection records and any other quality records generated related to E&I works.
- Assists construction personnel in identifying and resolving problems and potential or actual non-conformances related to E&I works.
- Advises QC Manager of non-conformance occurrences and raises Non-conformance Report for non-compliant work, monitoring closeout and effectiveness of correction and corrective action undertaken.
- Assists QC Manager in undertaking periodic audits, including those of sub-contractors and suppliers, particularly technical compliance audits in their field of specialization.
- Assists in preparation of final document for certification.
- Assists in systems commissioning as required.
