Key Responsibilities:
  1. Contribute to the development of the annual internal audit plan, identifying key risk areas and assessing their impact on the organization.
  2. Develop detailed audit scopes and plans, collaborating with management to define the specific areas and activities to be reviewed.
  3. Lead and manage the engagement team, ensuring high-quality work and efficient execution of audit plans.
  4. Evaluate internal controls and compliance, assessing their effectiveness and recommending improvements.
  5. Identify and address control weaknesses, clearly defining audit issues and root causes, and recommending corrective action plans.
  6. Support field audit execution, assisting field auditors in conducting ICFR audits according to defined plans and methodologies.
  7. Analyze audit findings and prepare reports, reviewing audit programs and contributing to the creation of comprehensive ICFR audit reports.
  8. Ensure comprehensive coverage, reviewing findings from field audits and identifying additional areas requiring examination.
  9. Collaborate with management, facilitating discussions regarding draft ICFR reports and finalizing reports with management input.
  10. Perform special ICFR audits, conducting in-depth investigations of critical business segments and identifying weaknesses.
  11. Support risk management initiatives, assisting the Head of Risk in strengthening the organization's risk culture and governance structure.
  12. Contribute to risk assessment, participating in risk assessments for relevant entities/projects and identifying potential risks.
  13. Maintain and update the risk register, identifying and updating key risks.
  14. Develop and implement risk mitigation plans, collaborating with risk owners to address identified risks and improve control frameworks.
  15. Promote risk management best practices, assisting the Head of Risk in rolling out group-wide risk management policies.
  16. Mentor and support colleagues, guiding and supporting peers to enhance their performance and deliver high-quality work.

Requirements:

Hold a recognized accounting designation (Chartered Accountant - CA/ACCA/CPA - or Inter CA) with a postgraduate degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred).

Possess a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in finance and accounting, including 3-5 years in a Financial/Operational internal audit role.
