Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic procurement officer to manage the bank's supply of products and services. This role will be responsible for identifying cost-effective deals and suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring the timely and efficient procurement of goods and services in line with the bank's policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sourcing Strategies: Develop, lead, and execute sourcing strategies to ensure compliance with bank policies and standards.
  2. Cost Management: Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
  3. Market Analysis: Forecast price and market trends to identify changes in buyer-supplier power.
  4. Risk Assessment: Assess and mitigate risks related to procurement activities.
  5. Vendor Partnerships: Seek and partner with reliable vendors to ensure quality, quantity, and timing of deliveries.
  6. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, terms, and deadlines with vendors.
  7. Record Maintenance: Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery, and invoices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
  • Certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS).
  • 5 years of experience in procurement.
  • Effective communication skills in English and Arabic.
