Mission Statement
  • Develop with the Naval Architect lead the specialistic knowledge of main Naval Engineer competences such as vessel Hydrostatic, Stability, Hydrodynamic, Dynamic Positioning System, Mooring, Engineering analysis for Offshore installation.
  • Apply and improve technical skills, expertise, knowledge, procedures and tools as required for proposals and project execution.
  • Support naval engineering activities.
  • Improve quality and efficiency in the naval engineering activities.
Job Tasks

The Naval Architect executes the activities within his area of responsibility, ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirements His tasks include:

  • Apply the Naval Engineering acquired competence for the Naval Architect technical activities.
  • Prepare naval deliverables (procedures, notes, technical reports).
  • Develop design capability (stability, hydrostatic hydrodynamics, hull, mooring, installation engineering, DP). Prepare technical documents relevant for requisitions, bid analysis and PO.
  • Prepare feedback dossiers from projects.
  • Support the Naval Architect Lead to develop the excellence in naval engineering.
  • Acquire the capability and the skill requested to successfully apply the state of art of numerical tool requested for the naval department engineering activities.
  • Assist the Naval Architect Lead to implement the process of Lesson Learning.
  • Improve technical competence growth of department resources regarding Hydrostatic, Stability, Hydrodynamic, Mooring analysis, Dynamic Positioning System.
