We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Special Needs Support Worker to join our team at Universal American School. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they receive the support they need to succeed academically and socially.
Your primary responsibilities will include providing individualized support to students with learning difficulties or special educational needs (SEN), working closely with classroom teachers and the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to develop personalized learning plans. You will also assist students in developing social skills, managing their behavior, and promoting independence.
We are looking for an experienced professional who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of students. If you possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, patience, empathy, and a positive attitude, we encourage you to apply. A minimum of a high school diploma and previous experience working with children, especially those with SEN, are highly desirable.
