The Senior Designer, Civil Structural role is responsible for handling complex civil structural design projects using licensed 2D/3D software. These projects require the fully competent application of conventional knowledge in oil & gas.
You will execute civil structural design deliverables in projects in a safe manner, within budget and schedule, with quality. This involves reviewing and understanding client technical documentation and requirements, ensuring effective communication among other engineering disciplines and project management teams.
- Act as senior and interact with the project engineering manager for solving technical problems arising during project development.
- Able to organize inputs and supervise the preparation of civil, structural and architectural drawings.
- Must have good knowledge and extensive experience with ADNOC/Shell DEP standards and drafting procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Take full responsibility for proper and timely execution of project deliverables ensuring full compliance with quality management system and any project-specific contractual requirements.
- Coordinate within members of civil structural discipline, other engineering disciplines within the organization or project team.
- Assumes responsibility for cost, schedule, material quantity and budget control.
- Takes personal responsibility for safety and a healthy environment on the projects.
