Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Duty Maintenance Technician to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties by performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting equipment and tools.
  • Respond to guest repair requests and communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues.
  • Identify and locate shut-off valves for equipment and utility shut-offs for buildings.
  • Maintain inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
  • Communicate daily activities and problems to other shifts using approved communication programs and standards.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting.
  • Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Related work experience in facilities maintenance.
  • Knowledge of air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems and controls, carpentry and finish skills, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation, and general building.
