About the Role

We are a reputable organization with over three decades of experience in the UAE, currently looking for a dedicated and skilled Marine Sales Specialist to enhance our shipchandler and marine services division. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in fostering and nurturing robust relationships with significant clients within the maritime sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and sustain strong connections with key clients in the maritime field, including ship owners and management firms.
  • Main Point of Contact: Serve as the primary liaison for key accounts, addressing inquiries and service requests promptly and professionally.
  • Tailored Solutions: Assess the unique needs of each client and customize services to fulfill their specific requirements.
  • Revenue Growth: Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to maximize revenue from existing accounts.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as operations and logistics to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Business Reviews: Conduct regular assessments with key accounts to evaluate satisfaction and identify areas for enhancement.
  • Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to uncover new business prospects.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive reports on account performance and market insights to management.
  • Networking: Engage in industry events and networking opportunities to bolster the company’s visibility and generate leads.
  • Proactive Approach: Maintain a forward-thinking mindset in forecasting and business development.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marine Industry or Marine Engineering is essential.
  • A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a similar role.
  • Thorough understanding of shipchandler services and maritime operations.
  • Strong sales and negotiation capabilities with a successful track record in managing key accounts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster long-term client relationships.
  • Results-oriented with a keen ability to identify business growth opportunities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solution-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
  • Fluency in English and familiarity with marine terminology; additional languages are advantageous.
