About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to join our team at Dicetek LLC. Key Responsibilities
  • Data Engineering: Design, build, and optimize data pipelines, including ETL/ELT processes, to ensure high-quality data is available for business intelligence and analytics purposes.
  • Business Intelligence and Analytics: Develop and implement business intelligence and analytics solutions using various tools and technologies, including Microsoft Power BI and SQL Server Analysis Services.
  • Data Orchestration: Utilize data orchestration toolsets, such as Apache Airflow, to automate and manage data workflows.
  • Cloud Platforms: Experience working with cloud platforms and services, preferably Azure, to design and deploy scalable data solutions.
  • Big Data and Event-Driven Data: Work with distributed event stores, such as Kafka, and highly scalable big data stores to process and analyze large datasets.
  • Logging and Monitoring: Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools, including ELK, Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana, to ensure data quality and system performance.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience working in agile environments, using Kanban and Scrum methodologies, and tools like Jira to manage projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Foster strong relationships with stakeholders and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Expert knowledge of data warehousing and data lake technologies, business intelligence tooling, data orchestration, cloud platforms, big data, and event-driven data.
  • Software Engineering: Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including full SDLC, code deployment, and agile methodologies.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to ensure successful project outcomes.
