Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Engineer to lead the design, planning, and execution of our real estate development projects. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, creative problem-solving, and strong leadership skills. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams, external consultants, and stakeholders to ensure all architectural aspects are delivered with precision, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor architectural works for conformance with contract documents and procedures manual.
  • Review and process architectural technical submissions.
  • Answer RFIs related to architecture.
  • Coordinate and supervise architectural activities and operations.
  • Review contractor's architectural change order proposals and prepare recommendations to Project Manager.
  • Lead coordination process with other disciplines.
  • Liaise and coordinate with sub consultants.
  • Review contractor's claims related to architectural works and prepare recommendations for claims to Project Manager.
  • Review contractor's project record documents relevant to their discipline.
  • Manage architectural inspectors.
  • Assist with inspection of completed works and monitoring start-up, testing, commissioning, and handover of architectural works.
  • Review contractor's material proposals against specified technical performance requirements and advise Project Manager on appropriateness of proposals.
  • Sign off on completed architectural works with completed documentation.
  • Prepare weekly planning and weekly report.
  • Perform other duties given by Project Manager.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or related field.
  • Professional registration as licensed architect or engineer.
  • 13+ years of experience in architectural design, with focus on real estate development.
  • Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building systems.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale commercial or residential development projects.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of sustainability practices and LEED certification is a plus.
