- Communication: Communicate complex technical information effectively, both in writing and orally, ensuring clarity and comprehension among technical and non-technical personnel.
- Infrastructure and Tools: Establish Infrastructure, Tools, and Labs.
- Technical Contributions: Support the chief engineer in the form of technical contributions.
- Experience: Minimum 12 years in drone industry including 5+ years in a senior/team lead role.
- Location: Experience in UAE or Middle East is desirable.
- Education: PhD specifically in Aerospace Engineering.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of guided weapon is preferable.
- Software Skills: Advanced knowledge of MS Office, MATLAB, any CAD package (Solidworks preferred).
- Simulation Tools: Proficient in low fidelity tools (XFLR5) and advanced simulations (ANSYS Fluent) for fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft.
- UAV Propulsion: Working knowledge of UAV propulsion – electric and ICE – selection, integration, optimization.
- Aircraft Control Theory: Expert knowledge of aircraft conceptual design.
- Aerodynamics: Working knowledge of aircraft control theory.
