The Medical Team Lead - Burns Intensive Care is responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading a team of medical professionals in the Burn Unit. This role requires excellent communication skills, leadership abilities, and a strong understanding of burn care principles.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of medical professionals in the provision of patient care and treatment.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients based on their specific needs and conditions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare teams to ensure seamless transitions of care.
- Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare staff on burn care and prevention.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in nursing OR
- Degree in Nursing (minimum two (2) years course duration) AND Registration as a Registered Nurse from Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, South Africa, New Zealand, and Australia
- AND valid/current national license.
- AND BLS
- ACLS, PALS relevant to area of specialty.
- NLT 2 years clinical experience post qualification in appropriate setting.
