Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Project Manager to lead projects across various disciplines. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Planning and Coordination
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute projects.
  • Establish project tracking tools, reporting structures, and governance processes.
Project Execution and Monitoring
  • Oversee project execution, ensuring alignment with predefined scope, budget, and timelines.
  • Monitor project milestones, resolve bottlenecks, and maintain momentum toward completion.
KPI Management
  • Define, monitor, and analyse team and project KPIs to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Proactively address performance gaps and implement corrective actions.
Risk and Issue Management
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Resolve project-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to timelines and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within an engineering, defence, advanced technologies, or autonomous systems environment. UAE experience is preferred.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects from inception to completion.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification preferred.
  • Strong understanding of engineering concepts and BoM/Budget preparation.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Jira, Trello).
  • Familiarity with KPIs and performance management metrics.
  • Well-spoken, with fluency in both English; Arabic is also preferred.
