Job Summary

The role of the Land Surveyor is to conduct accurate measurements and calculations for construction projects. This involves identifying areas that require surveying, taking ownership of assigned areas, and ensuring precise measurements. The Land Surveyor plays a critical role in determining the location and dimensions of land features.

Responsibilities
  • Study project details to identify areas requiring surveying.
  • Calculate heights, depths, and relative positions of terrain characteristics.
  • Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys.
  • Record results of surveys, including shape, contour, location, elevation, and dimensions of land or land features.
  • Verify accuracy of survey data and adjust surveying instruments as needed.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction/Land Surveying or relevant studies from an accredited college or university.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work accurately with attention to detail.
