About the Role
As a Principal Software Architect at ABB Schweiz AG, you will be responsible for leading the development and advancement of ABB Ability Genix. This includes focusing on deployment automation, packaging, and Core Technical Capabilities. You will have the opportunity to work directly with a talented team of engineers, driving technology excellence, Agile Delivery Excellence, and fostering People Excellence.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of different model types, management, and monitoring of large numbers of AIML models in a production environment. Additionally, experience with Azure cloud computing services, such as Azure App Service, Azure Cosmos, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Cognitive Datalake, Azure SQL Server, is highly desirable.

In this role, you will provide technical leadership, set coding standards, and architectural guidelines. You will also architect and design complex software systems involving AI/ML use cases, MLOps around C#, .NET / Python, and Angular. Furthermore, you will create the WBS for the feature that needs to be incorporated, ensure cybersecurity best practices, and provide continuous guidance to improve the coding practices.
