Election Overview

The Space Generation Advisory Council invites applications from eligible candidates for the position of Regional Coordinator for the Middle East region. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of the space community in the region.

About the Position

The successful candidate will serve on the SGAC Executive Committee and be responsible for representing the views of their region. They will oversee regional planning, coordinate activities, and ensure that the region's interests are represented at the Executive Committee level.

This role requires a high level of commitment and dedication. The successful candidate will need to be available to spend at least 5 hours per week on average working on this role.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement regional plans to achieve SGAC goals
  2. Build and maintain relationships with National Points of Contact and other stakeholders
  3. Represent the region at SGAC events and meetings
  4. Ensure effective communication and coordination among team members
  5. Monitor progress and report on regional activities

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, a strong understanding of the space sector, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They will also have professional fluency in English and a good understanding of international cooperation principles.
