Position Overview

The Kitchen Equipment Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining the functionality and efficiency of kitchen operations. This position involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring all kitchen equipment operates smoothly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Upkeep: Conduct regular maintenance tasks on kitchen machinery to avert potential breakdowns and guarantee peak performance.
  • Standard Operating Procedures: Develop and implement SOPs, perform routine preventive maintenance, and ensure all equipment is calibrated and functioning in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Installation and Repair: Possess comprehensive repair skills, including the installation and setup of kitchen appliances such as ovens, fryers, refrigerators, and dishwashers. This includes cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn components to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and rectify issues with malfunctioning equipment, addressing electrical, mechanical, or plumbing concerns as they arise.
  • Collaboration: Work in conjunction with external service providers for specialized repairs, ensuring that the culinary team can operate equipment safely and effectively.
