Job Description

Drive business growth and success in the subsurface team at ADNOC.

As a Petroleum Geomodeller, you will play a critical role in building high-quality static reservoir models that integrate all available data for dynamic reservoir modeling and field development planning. Your expertise will help provide inputs for well planning and optimal well placement for short- and long-term field development.

You will ensure that all geological inputs and models are captured in reservoir simulations and engineering designs, contributing to best practices within the subsurface team for analysis, interpretation, and modelling. Additionally, you will conduct quality control and review of generated models by peers, provide coaching/mentoring support, and ensure recognized competence in the team to permit delegation and supervision of the wider team modelling effort.

The ideal candidate will have 12-15 years of related petroleum industry experience as an oil company geomodeller, preferably with a background in carbonate reservoirs. A Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Reservoir Engineering, or Petroleum Engineering is required. Course certificates from core areas of Petroleum Geology/Geomodelling are also preferred.
