Museum Experience Designer

We are seeking an experienced exhibition designer to join our team at NHMAD. As an Exhibition Design and Development Specialist, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing immersive exhibition environments that engage visitors and effectively communicate scientific and cultural narratives.
Main Responsibilities
Develop spatial layouts, interactive elements, and visual aesthetics that enhance the visitor experience while ensuring accessibility, sustainability, and alignment with NHMAD's vision. Collaborate with curators, educators, and technical teams to bring exhibition concepts to life. Ensure that exhibition designs reflect scientific accuracy, cultural sensitivity, and accessibility best practices.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Exhibition Design, Interior Design, Architecture, Museum Studies, Natural science or a related field. 3+ years of experience from a natural history museum or similar in exhibition design, museum planning, or immersive experience development. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent 3D modeling tools.
