Key Responsibilities:

  1. Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed drawings and designs for infrastructure projects, including road layouts, cross-sections, and utility drawings.
  2. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other team members to ensure designs align with project requirements and industry standards.
  3. Review and revise designs as needed, incorporating feedback and making adjustments to ensure accuracy and compliance with codes and regulations.
  4. Perform quality control checks to verify that designs are error-free and meet industry standards and project specifications.
  5. Develop and maintain organized records of all designs, revisions, and related documents for future reference and documentation.
  6. Prepare detailed technical drawings as per project requirements while complying with all standards.
  7. Design, develop, and prepare drawings in line with the CAD standards and procedures.
  8. Interact with clients and stakeholders to ensure designs meet their requirements.

Requirements:

  1. Diploma in Engineering from an accredited institution.
  2. Minimum eight years demonstrable experience in drafting for lighting and infrastructure projects.
  3. Must have experience in the use of computer-aided drafting software, such as Civil 3D and AutoCAD; Revit Structural experience is a plus.
  4. Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken, with good capability in oral and written communication skills.
  5. Computer skills and the ability to utilize design software are mandatory.
  6. Registered as practicing engineers in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi or should have an equivalency certificate.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in web-based software to manage the uploading and downloading of documents, submittals, drawings, models, etc.
