Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at MAJID AL FUTTAIM. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing asset utilization and managing the procurement process to ensure cost efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Benchmarking and Analysis
    • Benchmark the previous spend on assets in all formats to identify areas for improvement.
    • Compare projected sales of concepts with actual sales versus asset spend to inform procurement decisions.
  • Asset Productivity and Optimization
    • Review and record the maximum productivity of assets versus maximum sales of the product to identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Work with the commercial team to understand the commercial need and develop strategies to meet it.
  • Procurement Planning and Execution
    • Conduct the annual spend analysis and procurement planning exercise to identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency.
    • Develop and implement strategies to optimize asset utilization and reduce costs.
  • Implementation and Delivery
    • Ensure timely delivery of materials to users and maintain open communication to manage expectations.
    • Manage the receipt and inspection of materials in coordination with users to ensure quality and quantity compliance.
    • Monitor the overall management of assets to ensure they are being managed and maintained in accordance with guidelines and quality standards.
    • Develop and implement strategies to conserve, utilize, and maximize the profitability of department assets.
