Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Company's Philosophy and Culture: Uphold the company's values and mission statement by providing legendary quality experiences to our guests.
  • Conduct Fitness Assessments and Classes: Deliver personalized fitness assessments and classes to guests, ensuring a high standard of service and attention to detail.
  • Supervise and Instruct Equipment Use: Safely supervise and instruct guests on the use of fitness equipment, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.
  • Assist with Operations: Assist with the daily operations of the Fitness Centre, including reception, fitness classes, and personal training sessions.
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Environment: Ensure the Fitness Centre is clean, tidy, and well-maintained, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Report Equipment Issues: Promptly report any faulty equipment to the Fitness and Wellness Supervisor/Manager.
  • Attend Meetings and Training: Attend daily line-ups, weekly and monthly departmental meetings, and participate in training courses as required.
  • Adhere to Grooming Guidelines: Maintain a high standard of appearance and personal hygiene, adhering to the Mandarin Oriental MODUB Grooming Guidelines.
Requirements
  • Experience in Fitness and Wellness: Proven experience in the fitness and wellness industry, with a strong understanding of fitness principles and practices.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with the physical demands of the role including standing, walking, and lifting.
