Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Accor. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional beverage experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and Serve Beverages: To prepare and serve beverages according to recipes and service standards, ensuring a high level of quality and consistency.
  • Product Knowledge: To be fully knowledgeable about all bar products and cocktail recipes, enabling you to make informed recommendations to guests.
  • Upselling and Customer Service: To be able to up sell each time with each customer, providing a personalized and engaging experience.
  • Quality and Efficiency: To provide a high standard of quality and efficient service, ensuring that all guests receive a memorable experience.
  • Mise-en-Place and Side Duties: To prepare mise-en-place and perform side duties, maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
  • Inventory Management: To collect all general requisitions and food and beverage requisitions, ensuring that inventory levels are maintained.
  • Opening and Closing Procedures: To strictly adhere to opening and closing procedures established for the outlet, checking beverage stock and ensuring that all equipment is in good working order.
  • Garnishes and Presentation: To have a thorough understanding and knowledge of all beverage items and prepare garnishes for each cocktail accordingly, ensuring that all drinks are presented in a visually appealing way.
  • Guest Enquiries: To handle guest enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, providing a high level of service and ensuring that all guests feel welcome.
  • Cashiering and Customer Relationship: To perform cashiering functions and to ensure that the outlet cashiering procedures are strictly adhered to, maintaining a positive relationship with guests.
  • Training and Development: To coach and train new recruits through on-the-job training, ensuring that they receive the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their role.
