Job Description

Pipeline Project Lead

The Pipeline Project Lead will oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure alignment with overall project objectives and business strategies. This involves leading cross-functional teams to drive project success through effective stakeholder management, problem-solving, and financial management.

  • Foster collaborative relationships with team members, contractors, and suppliers to drive project success.
  • Proactively identify, analyze, and resolve challenges. Anticipate potential risks and develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
  • Manage project financials, including preparing and tracking invoices, monitoring costs, and contributing to change order management.
  • Leverage expertise in MS Office Suite and project management software to efficiently manage project data and tasks.
  • Conduct regular project reviews and performance assessments, analyzing key metrics to optimize project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, risk registers, change orders, and meeting minutes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience as a Project Coordinator or in a similar role within the pipeline industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex pipeline projects on time and within budget.
  • In-depth understanding of project management principles and methodologies. Advanced proficiency in project scheduling software.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
