The organization is in search of a Senior Officer of Operational Risk Management to oversee and uphold an optimal level of operational risk while ensuring adherence to operational risk regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures. This position is designated exclusively for UAE Nationals in alignment with the nationalization initiative.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the operational risk framework within the bank
  • Foster a culture of operational risk awareness throughout the organization
  • Promote best practices in risk control across business units and support functions
  • Identify, assess, and communicate significant risks and controls to management
  • Conduct regular Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) and thorough due diligence evaluations
  • Ensure timely reporting of operational risk events and process failures by various business units
  • Provide monthly updates on Key Risk Indicators to the Operational Risk Committee and senior leadership
  • Prepare and submit reports to the regulatory authorities in a timely manner
  • Oversee the compilation of loss data reports and ensure the Operational Risk Register is submitted punctually
