Job Overview

As a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Professional, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and airworthiness of Air Arabia aircraft. You will assist the Engineer in performing maintenance tasks on Air Arabia and third-party aircraft undergoing line and base maintenance checks.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist the Engineer in reviewing task cards to gain a thorough understanding of work priorities, documentation requirements, and cautions.
  2. Perform scheduled maintenance according to assigned task cards, ensuring that required documentation, parts, tools, and ground support equipment (GSE) are obtained and used as instructed.
  3. Carry out tasks to the necessary standard to identify and record any defects or damage in accordance with approved maintenance procedures.
  4. Conduct structure and composite repairs as instructed by assigned task cards, adhering to approved data and procedures under the supervision of the Engineer-in-Charge.
  5. Ensure proper tooling/equipment is drawn from stores for task performance, returning it in good condition after completion.
  6. Regularly report the status of assigned tasks to the Engineer-in-Charge, alerting them to any problems with aircraft condition or execution issues.
  7. Maintain high housekeeping standards throughout all tasks performed.

Safety Protocols

  1. Manage personal assigned maintenance tasks while prioritizing safety, adhering to published mandatory precautions before commencing work and during execution.
  2. Take proactive steps to protect self and others within the maintenance area from potential injuries, utilizing proper GSE and protective equipment.
  3. Promote human factors awareness during maintenance activities, following established work interruption procedures and ensuring adequate access and lighting for inspections and tasks.
