The Structural Design Lead will be responsible for developing, executing, supervising, and coordinating all technical aspects of an infrastructure construction project. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as expertise in structural design and construction management.
Main Tasks:- Lead a team of engineers to develop plans, review drawings, perform structural calculations, schedule tasks, manage contracts, procedures, and construction methods and systems.
- Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with approved designs, specifications, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with construction management to identify and mitigate potential hazards associated with the project.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, testing, and inspections.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in structural design and construction management.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using CAD software packages, such as Midas Civil, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, SP column, Bentley RAM connections/elements, Prokon, Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.
