The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing contract requirements related to welding and providing comments/feedback to commercial and production departments;
  • Ensuring yard compliance with national and international standards, class rules, and legislations;
  • Liaising with third-party inspection authorities whenever required for the project;
  • Creating, reviewing, and implementing WPS to ensure that welding operations are conducted according to best practices and industry standards;
  • Designing welded joints, including butt joints, fillet welds, and flange connections, ensuring strength, efficiency, and structural integrity;
  • Conducting inspections and implementing corrective actions when necessary to ensure that welding processes meet the required quality standards;
