The position of F&B Captain is a crucial role in ensuring that guests receive exceptional service and an unforgettable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the outlet supervisor in team training and lead by example to promote a positive work environment.
- Provide prompt and courteous service to restaurant guests, addressing their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and organized restaurant throughout service, adhering to safety, sanitation, and hygiene policies.
- Stay knowledgeable about all menu items, their preparation methods, and ingredients, and be able to communicate this information to guests.
- Serve and clear food and beverage items in a professional manner, utilizing the POS system to ring up sales and print checks.
- Carry trays, bus tables, and reset tables with linen, china, glass, and silver, ensuring that the work station is stocked with appropriate condiments at all times.
- Conscientiously handle and maintain operating equipment, minimizing waste, neglect, breakages, and mishandling of supplies and equipment.
Personal Attributes:
- Good reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
- Must be well presented and professionally groomed at all times.
- Able to account and handle cash effectively and efficiently.
- Strong F&B product knowledge and excellent communication and customer contact skills.
